Duchess Kate and Duchess Meghan Make Joint Rare Appearance to Attend Prince Charles Party

MEGHAN Markle and Kate have stepped out for a rare joint appearance at Prince Charles’s party.

Today’s event is the fist time the duchesses have been seen together since Christmas Day when they attended church in Sandringham Meghan and Kate Meghan and Kate have stepped out for Prince Charles's party

The investiture regalia worn by the heir to the throne will be on display at the reception, including the investiture coronet, sword, ring and rod, as well as the letters patent for the creation of Charles as Prince of Wales in 1958.

Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, will give a speech at the event. And there will be a musical performance in the palace ballroom by students from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, which Charles supports as patron. Read more from EXPRESS.

Brooches, usually worn on the left shoulder, were a favourite for the royal and the Queen was believed to have over 100 in her collection. A selection that would go with an outfit were presented to her - usually three at a time - by her senior dresser and confidante Angela Kelly on special trays that once belonged to Queen Mary.
