The Duchess of Cambridge was praised by viewers following her appearance on Blue Peter this evening.
Kate, 37, got her hands dirty to lead a group of children in activities in a garden, including 'pond dipping', den building and making plant pots out of old wellington boots.
The episode, which aired tonight, also saw the world's longest running children's TV programme launch a competition for children to design a sculpture to go in the Duchess of Cambridge's Back to Nature garden.
Presenter Lindsey Russell also awarded the Duchess a Blue Peter Green Badge in recognition of her environmental work. Read More from The Daily Mail.
