The Princess of Wales visited the RHS Wellbeing Garden at Colchester Hospital

 

The Princess of Wales spoke today of the pressure of putting on a 'brave face' through cancer treatment and recovery, where 'everybody expects you to be better - but that's not the case at all'.

Kate, 43, who is continuing a slow and measured return to public life while in remission from cancer, said there was an expectation that patients 'crack on, get back to normal'.

But, she said, the 'very scary, very daunting experience' did not end with the conclusion of treatment, with patients needing to take time to find their 'new normal'. Read more @ https://sovrn.co/ooulu4x

Happy 43rd Birthday, Prince William !!

 King Charles has lead the tributes to Prince William on his 43rd birthday, sharing a believed-to-be unseen image of the heir - as well as a sweet message - via the Royal Family's official X (formerly Twitter) account.  

Meanwhile Charles' post was followed by a tribute shared by Kate Middleton, 43, who also shared a snap and short written message. 

The adorable image posted by Kate via the Wales' Kensington Royal social media account shows the heir sitting in a field, while playing with a group of small puppies, whose mother is believed to be Orla, the Wales' family dog.

In the image, the father-of-three is dressed casually, wearing jeans paired with a long-sleeved green button down shirt, as the puppies crawl over him sweetly.

The photograph is accompanied by a caption from the Princess of Wales and other members of their family.

Princess Catherine attends the annual Order of the Garter

 

The Princess of Wales has made a glamorous re-appearance at the annual Order of the Garter service as she giggled with the Duchess of Edinburgh while watching the procession pass through the grounds of Windsor Castle. 

Catherine, 43, sadly missed last year’s event - one of the highlights of the royal calendar - after being diagnosed with cancer and undergoing preventative chemotherapy.

But she returned this afternoon to watch her husband, Prince William, parade alongside his father, King Charles, Queen Camilla and other senior royals - dressed in blue velvet cloacks and hats with plumes of ostrich feathers - at the historic occasion. 

The Princess, wearing a cream Self Portrait dress and a matching wide brimmed hat by Sean Barrett, stood alongside the Duchess to watch the procession for the first time in two years.  Read more @ https://sovrn.co/fw3ki42

Princess Catherine Attends Trooping the Colour 2025

 

Members of the royal family have appeared on the balcony at Buckingham Palace following the Trooping the Colour parade to celebrate King Charles III's official birthday.

The King and Queen Camilla led the royal appearances as they prepared to watch a flypast involving aircraft including the Red Arrows, Chinook helicopters and a Lancaster bomber, a model that was used during World War II.

The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children George, 11, Charlotte, ten and Louis, seven, stole the show and were joined by the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, as well as the Princess Royal and Sir Timothy Laurence.

Princess Catherine Visits V&A Storehouse

 

The Princess of Wales undertook her first public engagement of the month today as she highlighted the ‘joy’ of the creative arts.

Kate, 43, was at the new V&A East Storehouse - which opened to the public just two weeks ago - and gives unprecedented free public access to the museum’s world-famous collection of more than 600,000 treasures from every creative discipline including fashion, film, visual art, design and performance.

The princess cut a trendy figure as she opted to rewear a chic trouser suit by designer Alexander McQueen for the event, along with a white scoop-neck top.

Princess Catherine Names HMS Glasgow by Smashing Whiskey Bottle against Hull

 The Princess of Wales has officially named HMS Glasgow by smashing a bottle of local Scottish whisky against its hull. 

Kate, 43, was joined by her husband, Prince William, to conduct the traditional naming ritual at the BAE Systems' shipyard in Scotstoun, on the bank of the River Clyde in Glasgow. 

Keeping her look suitably nautical for the outing, the royal sported a navy and white £1,850 coat dress from British brand Suzannah London and a matching statement hat from Philip Treacy, first worn at Trooping the Colour in 2024. Read more @ https://sovrn.co/1jogfzv

Princess Catherine Attends Garden Party at Buckingham Palace

 The Prince and Princess of Wales today met the parents of Liz Hatton, the teenage photographer who captured the hearts of the nation with her brave cancer fight. 

Kate, 43, re-wore her lemon yellow dress by Emilia Wickstead and a hat by Phillip Treacy as she stood on the terrace for the National Anthem in the grounds of Buckingham Palace, while the Prince of Wales wore a morning suit.

Princess Catherine attends event held by The British Fashion Council at London's 180 Studios

Catherine, 43, attended an event held by the British Fashion Council at London's 180 Studios to celebrate the impact of young British creatives and the UK's thriving fashion industry, as well as recognise designers who are leading the way in sustainable practices and making a positive impact on the environment. 

She's already considered a style icon in her own right. And today the Princess of Wales delighted fashionistas as she presented The Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design - and championing UK creatives, Kate showed her support for another sartorial legend, Victoria Beckham. Princess Catherie Launches a New Video Series on Nature

The Princess of Wales has turned her hand to film, personally launching a new video revealing how she embraced 'the healing power of nature' during her cancer treatment.

The series, which will be released on Kensington Palace's social media channels, began today with 'Spring', a three-minute film narrated by Catherine and including footage of her and Prince William on the Isle of Mull earlier this month.
