The Princess of Wales joined flag-waving young children making 'belonging maps' at a primary school to highlight the importance of children's mental health.
Catherine visited Castle Hill Academy in New Addington, Croydon, on Thursday to mark Children's Mental Health Week in her role as patron of the charity Place2Be.
She chatted to the youngsters about the importance of expressing their emotions, asking what made them feel good and safe.
'Do you like to talk about your feelings, your sense of belonging?' she asked, adding: 'Sometimes it's hard to talk about your thoughts and feelings.'

Separately, they also met with leader of the Ismaili Muslims, Aga Khan, with the heir to the throne pictured shaking hands with him outside Kensington Palace.
In a post on social media, the Prince and Princess of Wales said it was 'a pleasure' to welcome Mr Khan to the palace on Thursday morning.

Catherine, 44, was warmly welcomed to Hiut Denim, a family-owned company based in Cardigan, Wales, as part of a royal away to highlight the flourishing Welsh textiles industry.

The Princess of Wales displayed her caring side again today as she showed a young girl at a trauma therapy centre how to hear the sea in a shell - before joining teenage girls for rugby drills and joining a mental health group on an outdoor walk.
Kate spoke to therapists at Family Action in Bradford this morning, a charity which helps children and their families recover from complex trauma.
