Prince Wills and Kate were greeted by hundreds as they arrived in New York
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who arrived in New York last night, will undertake separate solo engagements after taking the Big Apple by storm.
Shortly after their arrival last night, they went to a glamorous dinner at the £10 million apartment of British advertising tycoon Sir Martin Sorrell in New York's fashionable Gramercy Park district.
Wearing a short, black lace cocktail dress, Kate smiled for the cameras when she and William arrived at the home Sir Martin, 69, shares with his Italian wife, Cristiana, 39.
Fans gathered outside the apartment block to see the royal couple go into the dinner party for 30 wealthy backers of the American Friends of the Royal Foundation.
Earlier, the couple were welcomed to their plush hotel after arriving more than 20 minutes late on their scheduled British Airways flight.
Kate wore a maroon coat from maternity brand Seraphine. Click link for full post from EXPRESS.
