Queen Meets Nao the Robot at Berlin's Technical University in Germany

Her Majesty was introduced to robot Nao at Berlin's Technical University on the first full day of her state visit to Germany.

Lecturer Marco Luetzenberger, 35, instructed Nao: "Stand up!" when the 89-year-old monarch arrived. He then asked, "Where is the Queen?" and Nao turned to face her and Prince Philip - causing much amusement.

Mr Luetzenberger said: "What do we do when we see the Queen?" and the robot saluted. Afterwards, Mr Luetzenberger said: "We wanted him to bow but that's quite dangerous. We didn't want him to fall over the table." Click link for full post from EXCRESS.

Brooches, usually worn on the left shoulder, were a favourite for the royal and the Queen was believed to have over 100 in her collection.
