THE Duchess of Cambridge has set tongues wagging after she failed to show up for her friend's wedding at last-minute - leaving Prince William to join the celebrations with his sister-in-law Pippa Middleton.
Kate's conspicuous absence from her husband's side sparked a flurry of speculation at the wedding
of upmarket estate agent and amateur boxer Bear Maclaine to socialite Daisy Dickson at All Saints Church in Thurlestone, South Devon, at the weekend.
And it appears the Duchess' decision not to attend was made so last minute, as the names of William and Catherine Wales were written on the seating plan at the marquee reception overlooking the village green.A source claimed: "They were due to sit at the top table
