It was originally thought that Prince George might go to the prestigious Wetherby School in London.
But
Kensington Palace
has revealed that the he will in fact go to Thomas’s Battersea school in London.

“Their Royal Highnesses are delighted to have found a school where they are confident George will have a happy and successful start to his education,”
Kensington Palace
said.
Prince George will be given the best start to his formal education at the school, which according to the Tatler School Guide, costs over £6,000 for a single term.

The choice of Thomas’s Battersea came as surprise after royal insides initialy placed their bets on on Wetherby School.

Thomas’s Battersea is located on the southern bank of the Thames right next to Battersea Park and just a 30 minute drive away from
Kensington Palace
.
All pupils join the school at the age of four and leave when they turn 11 or 13.
The school prides itself on its “record of senior school entrance and scholarship successes” but places an emphasis on “kindness, courtesy, confidence, humility and learning to be givers, not takers”.
