Prince Harry Visits Donation Centre for British Red Cross for Grenfell Fire

Prince Harry yesterday visited British Red Cross and community volunteers, who have been sorting through the huge number of donations made to the victims of the Grenfell Tower Fire. Prince Harry wanted to thank the volunteers who have given many hours of their time to help unpack, sort and distribute 40,000 boxes of clothing, toiletries and bedding. His Royal Highness was moved to hear how generous the public and businesses have been in donating all kinds of items to those affected by the fire. He thanked the teams from the British Red Cross who have worked tirelessly, many of whom travel for miles each day to sort through the donations, which at its peak filled three aircraft-hangers at the Royal Mail warehouse in north-west London. 📸 Caroline Irby / British Red Cross
