2018 Will Be an Extremely Busy Year for Royal Family

2018 will be a bumper year for the royal family, with a wedding and a new baby. Here's a look at what the months ahead have in store for the Windsors.

SWEDEN & NORWAY

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are beginning their working year with an official visit to Sweden and Norway. William and pregnant Kate will leave Prince George and Princess Charlotte at home as they head off on a four-day trip at the end of January.

CHARLOTTE STARTS NURSERY 

Charlotte, who turns three in May, starts nursery in January. William and Kate have chosen Willcocks Nursery School, located close to their Kensington Palace home. The school has been described in reports as having a loyal following of "old English families and chic foreigners".

ROYAL BABY

The Cambridges' third baby is due in April. The new prince or princess will be fifth in line to the throne. With the baby expected to be born at the private Lindo wing of St Mary's Hospital in London, older brother George and sister CharlotteCharlotte may visit the new arrival.



ROYAL WEDDING 

The show-stopping royal event of the year will be the wedding of Prince Harry to American actress Meghan Markle on Saturday May 19.
