She's making her return to official royal duties for 2018, and today the Duchess of Cambridge relied on an old favourite for her first engagement of 2018.
Kate, 36, sported a £65 blue and green floral print dress by maternity brand Seraphine, which she wore twice during her pregnancy with Princess Charlotte for her visit to the Reach Academy Feltham, a west London school that works with the children's mental health charity Place2Be to help pupils, teachers and parents.
This morning, she arrived wrapped up in a £199 wool coat by Hobbs, and was co-ordinated to the max with matching accessories.
She already has her adored Spaniel Lupo at home. But the Duchess of Cambridge made a new furry friend today - a puppy called Bear.
Four-month-old Bear, who is a cross between a poodle and bischon frise, will train to be a therapy dog to help children with emotional challenges and also practical skills such as reading.
Kate took to the dog immediately and started stroking him and asking about his training. She presented him with a rosette to mark the fact he has finished his puppy training.
Bear's owner Karen Howard, who is an attendance and community support officer at the school, said afterwards: 'My main concern was he'd been digging all morning and he's really dirty.
