Queen Maxima brought a burst of colour to proceedings as she stepped out in a vibrant pink dress for a busy day of engagements in London.
The Dutch queen, 47, showcased her signature flamboyant style as she joined Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex for a breakfast hosted by the Lord Mayor of London and a visit to the Thames to watch a Royal Marines demonstration.
They put on an animated display together and were seen laughing and chatting like old friends. Maxima and her husband King Willem-Alexander, 52, are on a two-day State Visit to the UK - the first by a sitting Dutch monarch in 40 years.
Following a relatively demure display yesterday, Maxima opted for a vibrant frock adorned with floral black sequins, cinched in at the waist to showcase her figure.
The Oscar De La Renta piece fell just below her knees, and the royal consort teamed the frock with a fascinator hat, coordinating drop earrings and a pair of classic court pumps.
