Prince George Looks Like Kate When She Was a Baby!!!

Prince George looks exactly like his mother, Kate Middleton, as can be seen in a family photograph released by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge ahead of Britain's Mother's Day and their Australia and New Zealand tour.

MonsoonThe official family photo shows that baby Prince George is taking after his mum's side of the family, with the same adorable chubby cheeks she had as a baby.

Another unmistakable Middleton feature is his cute round button nose – baby pictures of the Duchess show the same shape – which can be seen perfectly in the royal snap as the eight-month-old is caught looking sideways at the family's black spaniel, Lupo.

Caption: The Queen and Prince Philip arrive at Lloyd's of London[GETTY]

Coast Fashions Limited THE Queen chatted about race horses but for Prince Philip there was another burning question for the specialist insurance market at Lloyd's of London today.

Nobody was quite sure what prompted the query but when the royal couple visited Lloyd's to mark the market's 325th anniversary, the Duke of Edinbugh seemed worried about a vermin problem at one of their residences.

"Is the Royal Collection insured against damage by mice?" he asked Paul Lawrence, chief underwriting officer with the global specialist insurance group Hiscox.

Kate's Style Crosses the Atlantic!

Caption: Demure: the Duchess of Cambridge in LK Bennett's 'Detroit' dress - now sold out Photo: EDDIE MULHOLLAND

Inspired by the Duchess of Cambridge, our middling heels, knee-length frocks and warm coats are leading the vanguard of British fashion

Just the other week, for instance, Kate wore a demure green Hobbs trench for a St Patrick’s Day parade, the latest in the line-up of carefully stylish (but always practical) coats she’s sported by the brand. Inevitably, her emerald “Persephone Trench” is now out of stock, snapped up by a silent but mighty army of conservative dressers.

Meanwhile, LK Bennett’s neat blue “Detroit” frock (remember that American market), spotted on the Duchess last month, has been sighted, variously, on the shadow home secretary, Yvette Cooper, in the Commons, and Channel 5 newsreader Emma Crosby.

The dress, since sold out in many sizes on the store’s website, is currently listed on eBay for as much as £478 (though note: only in Kate’s royal blue, not Yvette’s racier fuchsia). Click link for full post from The Telegraph.

Queen and Duke of Edinburgh Visit Rambert Dance Company

Caption: The royal duo were treated to a guided tour of the Rambert company [PA]

THE Duke of Edinburgh watched a group of dancing pensioners entertain the Queen today and wondered why they did it: "It looks exhausting," he said.

At 92, Prince Philip is fitter than most his age but he was clearly impressed by the energetic performance of a community group of over 60s dancers called the Mercury Movers when he and the 87-year-old monarch visited the new home of the leading contemporary dance company Rambert.

"The Duke asked us why we do it as it looked exhausting. He also asked how did we know when to stop, perhaps when we dropped," said Lynda How, 66, a retired secondary school teacher who is part of the dance troupe.

"I danced when I was younger at social events and still love it, it's incredible fun, keeps you fit and it's social." Click link for full post from EXPRESS.

Prince William made Sir Marcus Setchell a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order [PA]

PRINCE William knighted Sir Marcus Setchell, the royal doctor who delivered Prince George, today and updated him on the progress of his "bouncing baby".

Sir Marcus, who served the Queen as surgeon-gynaecologist for 24 years before retiring from the medical profession at the end of last year, described helping George into the world as a "lovely experience" after William dubbed him on both shoulders with a ceremonial sword to make him a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order at an investiture at Buckingham Palace.

The two chatted animatedly for around a minute afterwards. "I think there's a code that you never report what's been said to you but he did make some remarks about what a bouncing baby George is now," Sir Marcus, 70, said laughing: "He's got a great future I think." The life and work of Sir David Frost, who died of a heart attack on board a cruise liner last year, has been commemorated in a memorial service at Westminster Abbey today.

Sir David, who probably interviewed more world figures from royalty, politics, the Church, show-business and virtually everywhere else, than any other living broadcaster, was the most illustrious TV inquisitor of his generation - as today's starry guest list proved.

On a sunny day in the capital, the stylish ladies turned out to show their support for the public figure, who died aged 74 in September last year.

Among the glamorous guests were Pippa Middleton, Sienna Miller, Cherie Blair, Lara Stone and Jemima Khan, as well as Sarah Ferguson, Princess Beatrice and the Duke of York.Click link for full post from The Daily Mail.

Prince Charles and Camilla Meet Life Saving Dogs from the Charity -- Medical Detection Dogs

Caption: Downtown Abbey actress Lesley Nicol with Prince Charles and Camilla [GETTY]

THE Duchess of Cornwall had an emotional moment after meeting life-saving medical experts with a nose for trouble today.

Camilla took Prince Charles to see three Labradors demonstrate their skills at St James's Palace to mark her decision to become patron of the charity Medical Detection Dogs, one of the world's leading organisations in using the animals to help spot serious illnesses, including cancer, often with a single sniff.

Comedian Bill Bailey, involved in the Men United campaign to raise awareness of prostate cancer, said he had been close to tears and Camilla too had been emotional after watching the animals at work, identifying prostate cancer and kidney tumours from samples.

Also at the event was Downton Abbey actress Lesley Nicol, who plays cook Mrs Patmore.

She has been a supporter of the charity, founded in 2008, for a number of years and has a dog named after her character which will be trained to spot medical conditions.

She said: "This is a relatively new charity and we need to spread the word about the work it's doing."  Click link for full post from EXPRESS.

Prince William and Kate: The Pressures of the Tour to Australia and New Zealand

Caption: Will Prince George repeat his father's famed 'crawlabout' of Auckland during the 1983 tour? Photo: Chris Jackson/Getty Images

With less than a month before the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge embark upon their first royal tour with young Prince George, the excitement in New Zealand and Australia is intense.

It is also mutual. Prince William has already let it be known that Catherine will “fall in love” with both territories “every bit as much as he did some years ago”.

The pair are set for an exciting three and a half weeks – the itinerary released last week will see the Duke and Duchess watch a skateboarding display in Adelaide and race each other in yachts across Auckland Harbour – and it is unlikely that the visit will be anything other than a resounding success.

The Cambridges are great ambassadors for Britain; they represent the future. But the triumph of their coming tour will be due in no small part to the lessons learned by other royals on previous, less assured Antipodean tours. Click link for full post from The Telegraph.
